Introducing Denise to Dr Takhar’s Cosmetic Clinic
Denise Schaefer began her nursing career in 1981 at the Cambridge Memorial and the Kitchener Grand River Hospitals. She specialized in both the medical surgical and the obstetrics areas.
After leaving hospital nursing in 1991 she began working in a Kitchener plastic surgeons office. Her injecting career began with the filler Collagen in 1996 and proficiency in Restylane, the next wave of hylaronic acid injectables, soon followed.
Denise learned the art & science of injecting Botox from its creators Allergan while working in a Waterloo plastic surgeons' office.
For over 10 years she has travelled domestically and internationally to train physicians and at clinics on the use and implementation of lasers. Denise is an expert trainer for the Pro-fractional Laser.
She is proficient with the various types of fillers and is current with all the "newest" techniques for volume face lifting and in the creation of vivacious lips. The integrity of her work is attributed to the time and precision she takes in incorporating her knowledge, technique and artistic panache for the best outcome on every face.
