Barinda - Business Manager
Barinda is the clinic's Business Manager. She graduated in Business Accounting and Finance over 15 years ago from the University of Kingston in England. Barinda has worked in several large accountancy firms including Deloitte & Touch and William M. Mercer. Barinda had the pleasure of working at the University of Cambridge for over 10 years as the Pensions Manager. This was a highly interesting job in which meeting high profile professors and famous people like Stephen Hawking was a day to day occurrence! Barinda and her family moved to Cambridge, Ontario in February 2010 to join her sister, Dr. Takhar, at the Cosmetic Clinic. Although she misses friends and family in Europe, she definitely loves her new home, her new life and her new job here in Cambridge - it is hard to picture the clinic without her!
Barinda's interests include the ever-improving world of skin care, new cosmetic procedures and advances in the world of Botox and fillers, as well as reading, blogging about her new life in a cosmetic clinic, biking, travelling both nationally and abroad and spending as much time as she can with her wonderful family!
Kathleen - Patient Care Coordinator
Kathleen was born and raised in Toronto and although she is in love with the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area and plans on staying for a long time, she admits that she will always be a "Toronto girl" at heart. In 2004, she moved to Waterloo to pursue her education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Waterloo. She studied Therapeutic Recreation with a focus on all aspects of gerontology - specifically the biological aging process and the steps to postpone its exterior presence. Kathleen is our Patient Care Coordinator and with the mix of her theory based knowledge on the natural aging process and a personal interest in cosmeceuticals that began many years ago, Kathleen is a great "first contact" to meet when calling or visiting the clinic for the first time. Continuously educating herself on the advances in the cosmeceutical industry and new anti-aging "tricks", Kathleen welcomes talking in depth about any questions you may have prior to a consultation or after a treatment.
